– TIKAV

. It continued with 21 BGP scholars. A total of 321 scholarship holders were reached.

– Akfen Holding transferred its 4.5% shares in Acacia to Bacacı International Trade Investments and Management Inc., pursuant to the share transfer agreement dated January 18, 2021 (July 22). After the transfer, Akfen Group’s share in Acacia Maden was 25.5%.

– MIP became the largest container port in Turkey in 2022.

 

2022

– Akfen REIT shares with a nominal value of 129,990,000 TL (10% of the capital), owned by Akfen Holding, were sold at a price of 3.70 TL, within the scope of wholesale purchase and sale transactions (November 14). After the sale, Akfen Holding’s share was 13.94%.

– Credit Rating Agency JCR Avrasya increased Akfen GYO’s long-term national institution credit rating from BBB (good credit quality) to A- (high credit quality) last year.

– Akfen GYO, Gökliman Yat., which owns a total of 83,624.59 m² of land in Milas district of Muğla. All shares of İnşaat Turizm ve Geothermal Ticaret A.Ş. were purchased (December 29).

 

2022

– According to Moody’s October 2022 environmental and social governance and sustainability report, Akfen Renewable Energy’s overall score was announced as 70 points. With this score, Akfen Renewables ranked first among all companies in the world and all markets in the European/Asian market in the electricity sector. According to the report, Akfen Renewable Energy entered the top 30 among all sectors in the world market.

 

2022

– Akfen Holding acquired Oyak Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. on October 17, 2022. It has issued financial bills with a maturity of 179 days, discounted interest, and a nominal value of 300 million TL, through the Bank and through sales to qualified investors.

– Turkrating announced on December 14, 2022 that Akfen Holding’s Long-Term National Credit Rating has been confirmed as TR AAA, its Short-Term National Credit Rating as TR A1 and its outlook as stable.

– The Company’s capital, which was 700 million TL, was increased by 210 million TL to 910 million TL.

– Akfen İnşaat won the Renovation and Reconstruction tender of Sister of Mercy Hospital in Zagreb, Croatia, which it entered together with Dost İnşaat.

– At the General Assembly meeting of Hacettepe, it was decided to increase the capital. After the capital increase, Akfen İnşaat’s share in Hacettepe reached 99.76%.

– Akfen GYO capital increase has been completed. (344.6 million TL) After the transaction, Akfen Holding’s share in Akfen GYO became 30.37%.

– Akfen GYO’s paid-in capital was increased to 1.3 billion TL. (December 7, 2021) After the transaction, Akfen Holding’s share was 23.94%.

– Akfen Renewable Energy reached 706.0MW installed power.

 

2019

– Akfen Renewable Energy provided ‘Turkey’s largest green energy loan’ with combine power of 6 local and foreign banks to build 13 WPP’s and SPP’s in Turkey with local renewable energy, in $ 530 million. With this loan, Akfen Renewable Energy is rewarded 2019 Turkey Bonds & Loans Awards” as “ECE / Export Finance Deal of the Year” and second prize in “Natural Resources Finance Deal of the Year” category.

 

2019

– The “Hygiene is Health” project under the coordination of TİKAV and Akfen Renewable Energy financing, were provided with hygiene training 2,000 women in 26 different rural areas. With the collaboration of TİKAV and Akfen Renewable Energy since 2017, approximately 4,300 women living in rural areas were reached to seminars with the 3 social responsibility projects titled “We Have Been Schooled At Home”, “Health First” and “Hygiene is Health”.

– In December 2019, the share purchase agreement for 2 WPP purchases with an installed capacity of 80 MW of Zorlu Wind Energy was signed, the purchase transaction was completed in February 2020.

– MIP exported $ 600 million in Eurobonds in November 2019. The 5-year bond was issued at 5.375% coupon interest rate.

– Akfen Environment and Water sold all of its shares in Akfensu-Arbiogaz Dilovası (75% share) to Kocaeli Gebze Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone (DOSB) on August 1, 2019.

– As of 15 March 2019, Acacia Maden produced its first saleable copper.

– On 20 November 2019, Akfen Holding issued bonds worth 200 million TL with a maturity of 2 years to qualified investors.

– As of 9 December 2019, Akfen Renewable Energy has increased its capital. After the increase, the shares of EBRD and IFC increased to 16.933% and Akfen Holding’s share was 66.134%.

– In 2019, 4 WPPs with a total installed capacity of 268.6 MW, 1 GES with an installed capacity of 13 MW and 1 HEPP with an installed capacity of 7 MW became operational.

– Giresun Çalıkobası Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) built by Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş. (Akfen Renewable Energy Inc.) which will provide power for 9,000 houses started production. Çalıkobası HEPP project which has 18 megawatt capacity was completed with an investment of 35 million dollars. (5 June 2017)

An additional 40% share was purchased in Adana İpekyolu in October 2015.

– Akfen Construction was the best bidder in Eskişehir City Hospital tender.
